Unreal Engine Developer

Green Wall Designs are looking for an Unreal Engine Technical Artist with strong experience in real-time rendering and shader development.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining internal systems that support the creation of live and rendered visualisations for stage lighting and video production. You will work closely with Producers, Creatives and technical teams in a fast-paced production environment where precision, performance and reliability are essential. The role combines artistic understanding with technical expertise, and requires someone who enjoys building robust solutions that empower creative workflows.

Typical responsibilities

  • Develop and implement new features within Unreal Engine
  • Build custom pipeline tools and external systems that communicate with Unreal Engine
  • Write clean, well-structured and well-documented code
  • Debug, profile and optimise systems for performance and reliability
  • Collaborate with the team to support and improve internal visualisation workflows

We are also looking for someone who:

  • Is able to work on site in our studio in Sickla, Stockholm
  • Has strong skills in C++ along with experience in Python and Blueprints
  • Has a solid understanding of Unreal Engine architecture and how to extend or customise its systems
  • Has experience with network programming, both inside and outside Unreal Engine
  • Works in a structured and reliable way, with good attention to detail
  • Enjoys collaborating in a creative and technical team environment

Nice to have:

  • Experience from AAA game development or similar real-time environments
  • Knowledge of VR / AR / MR workflows
  • Experience working with external or custom data formats
  • Understanding of live stage lighting and video workflows
